August 20-Sept 2, 2013

Alice Isabel is born!  I never know how the sibling is going to react to her new baby in the family but Elliott couldn't be happier, it's so cute!

We went to Maddie's first Cross Country meet. This one is just for fun. You get to leap over hay bales. I thought it was cool that the Timpanogos Temple is in perfect view from American Fork High. Goal!

 It was almost time to cover the pool for the winter. Once school and sports start, the kids get too busy to swim anyway. Night swim, Yay!

 Mom and Dad had their first date at this Pizza place  in Provo. It was named something different back then (Heapsa Pizza?). We all went to celebrate their 43rd anniversary.

Last day of Summer Vacation, First Day of School

For our last day of Summer Vacation, we decided to take the kids to The Cheesecake Factory. It was really good and really filling.

 Jon's sad because he doesn't like cheesecake but he found lots of other good food to take its place!

August 20, 2013

This year Seth got assigned to go on the later track of elementary. We've never been on this track so it has been an adjustment but he likes it okay. On Wednesday he has piano lessons so his teacher lets him come on the earlier track that day. Seth doesn't really like getting home at almost 4:00.

 Seth leaves the house at 8:45. 5th grade

 Maddie gets a ride to the High School with her friend Marissa's older sister, Lindsay. So she leaves about 7:20. 10th grade.

Tanner prefers the bus because the parking lot is crazy! He leaves at 7:00am. 12th grade. :(

Max is at the Middle School so he leaves at 7:40am. 8th Grade

Family Pictures

It had been a couple of years since we took family pictures (at Devon and Mary's wedding). We thought it would be good to take Tanner's Senior Pictures and Maddie really wanted pictures. We asked Jessica Hardin, a cute girl in our ward and she did a great job!

Anniversary- 19 Years

August 7-9

Jon and I have wanted to go down to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival for a few years. This year we decided to actually do it! We got to see 4 plays in 2 days which was so much fun! We saw Peter and the Star catcher (my favorite), 12 Angry Men, King John, and Loves Labors Lost. All were very enjoyable!

We ate a lot of great food but we also walked everywhere so hopefully it balanced out. We ate at a great bbq place called Sonny Boys.

 "World Famous Tarts".  I tried the raspberry and summer berry. Yum! So nice to be with Jon for a few days!
