We could check into our beach house at 3 on Saturday so we decided to go half way on Friday to get our maximum time in California. We stopped at Dairy Queen, yay. We only have one around us and it's about 30 minutes away.
We got to Vegas an hour before we needed to check into our Hotel so we decided to stop at a Pawn Shop. I know that sounds weird. Maddie and Jon watch "Pawn Stars" sometimes so we decided to see where it's filmed.
We didn't actually see any famous people but it was cool to see some of the items featured on the show.

Somebody recommended to Jon to eat at Hash Hash a Go Go because it has chicken with waffles. Maddie and I decided to split the banana brown sugar pancake. I was a little worried there wouldn't be enough for both of us but then our order came and I was very glad we decided to share!
It's hard to walk around Vegas without being bombarded with pornography. If you look up, it's on the billboards and if you look down it's all over the sidewalk in little cards. We decided to walk to the Bellagio to see the water with music, that sounded family friendly. Sadly, a girl was yelling at her boyfriend with lots of cussing and the kids kept looking at me every time they heard one. By the time we left Vegas the next day the kids were happy to get out of there!
Before we left we stopped at "M & M World" which is just a 3 story M&M store, not really a world but pretty fun.
