For my 13th birthday, I decided to re-do my room. We painted it purple in 2007, that color was getting pretty babyish! Two of my awesome grandmas gave me money to buy the paint and my other awesome grandma made my bedspread. My mom helped with moving, taping, etc. My amazing dad did most of the work though, Thanks dad!!!!

This was one of the funnest memories I have had, and it was totally worth it! We might add cute accessories, but for now, that's all we got. Thanks for reading this, I'll be here all night! :D

I feel cheated...I never saw the purple for reals....I will have to come have a tour of the new room just so when you say sky blue is so 2011 I dont miss that too. Good luck in your new room Maddie.

Your room looks great! I love the colors you chose! Plus, I'm kind of jealous that you got to paint your room; I never got to before I moved. It looks awesome!

Wow Maddie! I didn't know you painted your room! I wish we would have gone in and seen it on Sunday. And... I don't think you painted over the purple because it is babyish... I think you did it because purple is Justin Beiber's favorite color.
